Search for a Beneficiary

This tutorial explains how to quickly find a beneficiary in PCH-SIG.

Search methods

Several methods are available:

Step 1: Access beneficiaries

  1. Click on Cash Transfers in the menu
  2. Click on Beneficiaries

Step 2: Use the search field

  1. Click in the Search field
  2. Enter your search term

Search by name

Type the head of household's name:

Mamadou Diop

Search also works with partial names:

Diop

Search by code

Type the household code:

MEN-2024-00123

Search by phone

Type the phone number:

Tip

Search starts automatically after 2 characters are entered.


Advanced filters

Step 1: Open filters

  1. Click the Filters button
  2. The filters panel is displayed

Step 2: Select criteria

Geographic filters:

SectorFilter by sector
MunicipalityFilter by municipality

Status filters:

StatusActive, Inactive
ProgramList of programs

Payment filters:

FilterOptions
Payment methodMobile Money, Bank

Step 3: Apply filters

  1. Select your criteria
  2. Click Apply
  3. The list is updated

Step 4: Reset

Click Reset to clear all filters.


Combine search and filters

For a precise search:

  1. First apply geographic filters (e.g., Region = Dakar)
  2. Then use text search (e.g., "Diop")

The system displays only beneficiaries named "Diop" in the Dakar region.


Step 1: Access the map

  1. Click on Data > Map
  2. Select the Beneficiaries layer

Step 2: Navigate on the map

  1. Zoom to the area of interest
  2. Beneficiaries appear as markers

Step 3: Click on a marker

  1. Click on a purple marker
  2. The tooltip displays information
  3. Click View details to open the file

View the file

Once the beneficiary is found:

Available actions

  • Edit: Update information
  • History: View all payments
  • Suspend: Temporarily deactivate

Practical cases

Case 1: A beneficiary calls to verify their payment

  1. Ask for their phone number
  2. Search by phone: 771234567
  3. Open their file
  4. Check the Payments section

Case 2: Find all beneficiaries in a locality

  1. Open Filters
  2. Select Region > Sector > Municipality > Locality
  3. Apply
  4. The list displays beneficiaries from that locality

Case 3: Identify beneficiaries with failed payment

  1. Go to Payments
  2. Filter by Status = Failed
  3. The list displays failed payments with the beneficiary
