Getting Started with Bemba

This guide walks you through your first steps with Bemba. By the end of this tutorial, you will know how to navigate the application and perform basic operations.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Bemba user account
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
  • A stable internet connection
Getting an account

Contact your system administrator to obtain your login credentials.


Step 1: Logging into the Application

1.1 Accessing Bemba

Open your browser and go to the address:

https://sig.ucp-pch.org

1.2 Logging In

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Enter your password
  3. Click Log in
Forgot your password?

Click "Forgot password" to receive a reset link by email.


Step 2: Discovering the Interface

After logging in, you arrive at the dashboard.

Step 3: Navigating the Modules

The side menu provides access to modules:

  • Registry: Households, Beneficiaries, ASC
  • Transfers: Payment cycles, Payments
  • GIS Map: Geographic visualization
  • Reports: Dashboards and exports
  • Settings: Configuration (admin)

Typical Navigation

  1. Click on a module in the menu
  2. Use filters to refine your search
  3. Click on an item to view details
  4. Use action buttons (Edit, Delete, etc.)

Step 4: Searching for a Household

4.1 Accessing the Household List

  1. In the menu, click Registry > Households
  2. The list of households is displayed

4.2 Using Filters

Filter by:

  • Region / Sector / Municipality
  • Status (Active, Graduated, Suspended)
  • Text search (head of household name, code)

Available filters follow the geographic hierarchy:

4.3 Viewing Details

Click on a row to open the complete household file.


Step 5: Viewing a Beneficiary

5.1 From the Household File

  1. Open a household
  2. In the Members section, click on a beneficiary

5.2 Available Information

  • Personal data
  • Identity documents
  • Payment history
  • Status and conditionalities
