Logging in to PCH-SIG

This tutorial explains how to access the PCH-SIG application and log in with your account.

Prerequisites​

  • A PCH-SIG user account (provided by the administrator)
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
  • An internet connection

Step 1: Accessing the application​

Application address​

Open your browser and enter the address:

Production:

https://sig.ucp-pch.org

Local development:

http://localhost:3000
Tip

Add the address to your bookmarks for quick access.

Step 2: Entering your credentials​

Login page​

The login page displays two fields:

Logging in​

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Enter your password
  3. Click the Log in button

Successful login​

If your credentials are correct, you will be redirected to the dashboard.

Step 3: Connection problems​

Forgot password​

  1. Click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click Send
  4. Check your email inbox
  5. Click on the reset link
  6. Choose a new password
Timing

The reset email usually arrives within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if necessary.

Account locked​

After several failed attempts, your account may be temporarily locked.

Solution: Wait 15 minutes or contact your administrator.

"Incorrect credentials" error​

Check:

  • The spelling of your email
  • The uppercase/lowercase of the password
  • That Caps Lock is not enabled

Step 4: First login​

Changing your password​

On your first login, it is recommended to change your password:

  1. Click on your profile (top right corner)
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Change password
  4. Enter the old password
  5. Enter the new password (twice)
  6. Click Save

Password rules​

A secure password must contain:

  • At least 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character (!@#$%...)

Step 5: Logging out​

To log out securely:

  1. Click on your profile (top right corner)
  2. Select Log out
  3. Confirm the logout
Important

Always log out before leaving a shared computer.

Security​

  • Never share your password
  • Use a unique password for PCH-SIG
  • Change your password regularly
  • Log out after use

Browser​

  • Use the latest version of your browser
  • Enable JavaScript
  • Allow cookies for the site
