Overview

This dashboard answers the questions:

  • How many households have we registered?
  • What percentage of the target have we achieved?
  • Which regions/communes are behind?

Coverage Rate Calculation

The coverage rate is calculated as follows:

Where:

  • Registered Households = Number of household forms created
  • Target = Goal defined for the area
Note

Targets are defined by program coordination and can be adjusted in settings.

Use Cases

Identify Lagging Regions

  1. Access the Coverage dashboard
  2. View "By Region"
  3. Identify regions with rate < 50% (red bars)
  4. Analyze causes of delay
  5. Plan corrective actions

Analyze a Region in Detail

  1. Click on the region
  2. View the commune list
  3. Identify problematic communes
  4. Prioritize collection efforts

Track Monthly Progression

  1. Check the "Monthly Progression" panel
  2. Compare volumes for each month
  3. Identify trends (acceleration/deceleration)
  4. Adjust collection schedules

Prepare a Coverage Report

  1. Apply desired filters
  2. Note key indicators:
    • Total registered
    • Overall coverage rate
    • Lagging regions
  3. Export data for report

Compare Registration vs Validation

  1. Switch to "Progression" view
  2. For each region, compare:
    • "Registered" bar (total forms)
    • "Validated" bar (verified forms)
  3. A significant gap indicates a validation backlog

Best Practices

Weekly Monitoring

  • Check the dashboard every week
  • Compare with the previous week
  • Identify trends

Realistic Targets

  • Set achievable targets
  • Revise targets if necessary
  • Account for field constraints

Real-time Validation

  • Validate forms as they are created
  • Avoid accumulating a backlog
  • The validated/registered ratio should be high

Communication

  • Share indicators with field teams
  • Celebrate successes (targets achieved)
  • Mobilize on lagging areas
