  5. Plan an intervention

Track a Specific Member

  1. Search for member by name

  3. Analyze indicator evolution
  4. Identify trends (improvement/deterioration)

Analyze Measures for a Period

  1. Set the period with date filters
  2. Review global statistics
  3. Identify malnutrition peaks
  4. Correlate with events (season, distribution, etc.)

Verify Referrals

  1. Search for measures with "Referred for treatment"
  2. Verify cases were attended to
  3. Track post-referral evolution

Export Data for Analysis

  1. Apply desired filters
  2. Click Export
  3. Analyze in Excel or statistical tool
  4. Prepare monitoring reports

Best Practices

Measurement Quality

  • Use calibrated equipment
  • Train data collection agents
  • Measure MUAC on the left arm
  • Verify data consistency (weight/height)

Monitoring Frequency

  • Children < 5 years: monthly measurement
  • MAM cases: bi-weekly monitoring
  • SAM cases: weekly monitoring until recovery

Severe Case Referral

  • Refer all SAM cases immediately
  • Document referral in the system
  • Ensure post-referral follow-up
  • Coordinate with health centers

Data Analysis

  • Calculate MAM and SAM rates
  • Track evolution over time
  • Identify risk areas
  • Share indicators with partners
