Programs are the intervention framework that defines the rules and parameters for cash transfers to beneficiaries.

What is a program?

A social protection program defines:

Program list

The main page displays the list of all programs configured in the system.

Displayed columns

Available filters

  • Search: By code or name
  • Status: Active / Inactive
  • Funder: Filter by funding source

Create a program

  1. Click on New program
  2. Fill in the required information:
    • Unique code
    • Program name
    • Funder
    • Base amount
    • Start and end dates
  3. Select target areas (regions/sectors)
  4. Click Save

Edit a program

  1. Click the Edit icon in the list
  2. Modify the desired fields
  3. Click Save

:::warning Attention Modifying the base amount does not affect already generated transfers. Only new transfers will use the new amount. :::

Relationships with other entities

A program is linked to:

  • Eligibility rules: Criteria to become a beneficiary
  • Beneficiaries: Households enrolled in this program
  • Transfers: Payment periods of the program
  • Budget: Available financial envelope

Program statuses

Best practices

  1. Unique code: Use a consistent naming convention (e.g.: PCH-REGION-YEAR)
  2. Target areas: Define intervention areas precisely
  3. Dates: Plan start and end dates accurately
  4. Budget: Verify that the budget is sufficient before generating transfers :::
