Map Navigation
The interactive map allows you to visualize the geographic distribution of households, beneficiaries, and other data.
Access
Side menu: Data > Map
Required permission: donnees.carte
Map interface
Map area
The main area displays an interactive map based on OpenStreetMap with:
- Markers representing households/beneficiaries
- Colors according to selected criteria
- Zoom and pan
Side panel
On the left, a panel allows you to:
- Select layers
- Apply filters
- Display statistics
Navigation controls
Zoom

Pan

Recenter
Click Recenter to return to the default view (entire Senegal).
Markers
Marker types
Each data type has a specific marker:

|---|---|---|
| Drop | Green | Eligible household |
| Drop | Gray | Non-eligible household |
| Drop | Red | Extremely poor household |
| Drop | Orange | Vulnerable household |
| Drop | Purple | Active beneficiary |
| Drop | Dark red | Complaint |
Clicking on a marker
Clicking on a marker displays a tooltip with:
- Household code
- Head of household name
- Location (region, commune, locality)
- Household size
- PMT score and category
- Eligibility status

From the tooltip, click View details to open the complete record.
Statistics by zone
At the bottom of the map, a bar displays statistics for the visible zone:
- Number of households
- Number of beneficiaries
- Distribution by category
Statistics update automatically when zooming/panning.
Full screen mode
Click the expand icon to enter full screen mode. Press Escape to exit.
Performance
Display optimization
For large amounts of data:
- Markers are grouped (clustering) at low zoom
- Only visible markers are loaded
- Zooming activates individual display
Limits
- Maximum 10,000 markers displayed simultaneously
- Use filters to reduce the number of points
